Make sure you have your promotional pencils at the ready to pencil in this important date for your diaries... the 26th of June 2010 is England's D-Day in the Fifa World Cup when the national team face their old foe Germany in the the last 16 of the global tournament.
The strong desire from the England fans (and some players) to see the manager change the formation, to play Joe Cole and to alter the strike force has proved successful and the result was a win that has taken the side through to the next stage of the competition. Hopefully they will all feel at ease and play in a more relaxed and confident style to get the required result.
There have been lots of comical sketches made using printed pencils by caricaturists for various newspapers poking fun at certain players and the manager but in truth, the best thing to do with your pencil is to use it constructively; like drawing up the next plan of attack on the pitch! Whatever you use yours for, so long as we get behind the team I'm sure we'll succeed!
