Printed pencils important date

Make sure you have your promotional pencils at the ready to pencil in this important date for your diaries... the 26th of June 2010 is England's D-Day in the Fifa World Cup when the national team face their old foe Germany in the the last 16 of the global tournament.

The strong desire from the England fans (and some players) to see the manager change the formation, to play Joe Cole and to alter the strike force has proved successful and the result was a win that has taken the side through to the next stage of the competition. Hopefully they will all feel at ease and play in a more relaxed and confident style to get the required result.

There have been lots of comical sketches made using printed pencils by caricaturists for various newspapers poking fun at certain players and the manager but in truth, the best thing to do with your pencil is to use it constructively; like drawing up the next plan of attack on the pitch! Whatever you use yours for, so long as we get behind the team I'm sure we'll succeed!

Promotional products that really stand out!

Personally I prefer to write stuff down with printed pencils because they are so much more flexible and mistakes can be rubbed out easily... an architects writing instrument of choice for centuries. To erase mistakes though, you'll be needing a rubber (or eraser if you prefer) and there are a variety to choose from.

To really make an impact, you may wish to consider something like our range of promotional flouro erasers. These fantastically vibrant erasers are available in green, pink, orange and yellow and because they are rectangular, almost the whole side of these promotional products can be used to print your logo and messaage on to.

If you order these versatile printed products with your logo and message printed in one colour, they can be dispatched as quickly as 7 days. Great for last minute purchases!

Spring time for promotional pencils

Summer is fast approaching because spring time is in full flow and we can all look forward to the gorgeous sun coming out and many of us will be venturing down to the beach too! Let's all hope that with the influx of tourists and people going out about that everyone remembers to look after their rubbish and dispose of it properly. Afterall, spring's all about new life and everything being fresh and rejuvenated. It's a great time of year to appreciate the world we live in.

There's all the more incentive as well to show think about how best to promote your campaign by utilising the resources that have already been purged from the environment. Recycled promotional products are very much the leading way to carry a brand in public whilst simultaneously generating a real feeling that your care for the environment too.

Promotional products that are green and yet summery include recycled promotional pencils, recycled drawstring bags... great for carrying those flip-flops in!

Mechanical Pencils

Yes, you read the headline correctly... printed pencils that are mechanical! I'm not talking cogs and springs and oil sloshing about just to get some lead on a page; I'm talking about those products that are often referred to as technical pencils or architects pencils. They have a plastic or metal barrel and can often be similar in apearance to their promotional pens conterparts.

I find that these mechanical pencils are often much more effective for sketching with as they always have a consistant lead width and don't ever require sharpening. As they are often constructed using more durable materials, you often find that they are maintenance free bar occasionally buying replacement lead refills.

What makes these promotional pencils all the more effective is that they can become excellent message carriers as they come in a variety of colours so quite often there is a colour that will complement your corporate i.d. effectively.

Spring and promotional pencils

Come the season of spring, new life is abundant and in April tradition would dictate that the showers are to follow. This means that the perfect promotional pencils for this season have got to be Rainbow Pencils.

These vibrant and funky looking pencils are based on a traditional simple pencil design but have a blended multicoloured exterior. When they have your logo on, printed pencils can be very effective marketing tools for your brand and message.

If you don't want them all to be the same colour however, you could of course utilise Neon Pencils which again are based on traditional printed pencils but with black trim and self coloured erasers. The bright flourescent colours on the shaft offer themselves as a really powerful background which only serves to enhance your lgo and message when printed on the barrel. Pencils really are effective promotional gifts.

The brightest promotional pencils on the planet

You want your message to stand out don't you? Well there's one product around right now that appears to be making a real impact with businesses and organisations alike and is a particularly popular giveaway with the public sector. I am of course on about Neon Printed Pencils.

Ok so the print isn't luminous but the pen exterior really is and comes in green, orange, pink and yellow. They all have self coloured erasers on the end and black trim. Promotional pencils are available in a range of colours and styles including standard pencils, mechanical printed pencils and many more.

The reason why these pencils work so well is that they are so vibrant and strong and message carriers for all sorts of campaigns. Fire services, local councils and other welfare organisations find them to effective tools for promoting their message because of the unusual nature of these products, thus people and children in particular are keen to hold on to thm for longer.

The many uses of promotional pencils

Promotional pencils seem to be everywhere... behind a builder's ear or on an architect's desk or in a child's pencils case. There are many reasons why printed pencils are more versatile than pens and other promotional gifts. At certain times in your day you'll want to find something to jot a note down and often you'll pick up a pen only to find that it's run out or getting scratchy. The evolution of pens has resulted in a variety of writing instruments that have lots of uses but sdaly many of them neglect their whole reason for being... to write! Consequently you end up with great pens that can do lots of fancy things but can't fulfill their main purpose well enough - i.e. they can't write well.

It's down to these reasons that many people prefer to pick up a pencil because they are assured that it will work. Ok, so printed pencils do require sharpening sometimes but there's always the mechanical alternative instead which also contains a large variety of styles too. Considering the level of pencils that are around it's understandable why pencils are among the best seling promotional products around - when printed with your logo and message there become not just a tool for writing or drawing with but a powerful tool for advertising with as well. Printed pencils really are a versatile.

Printed rulers for rulers?

If Caesar was around today he'd embrace every form of advertising possible to promote the merits of the Roman Empire. The vast array of various products on offer today could well have been to much of a temptation to simply disregard them. He'd want to use the products which could be seen everywhere and were common place with practical usages as well. Keeping in mind the Roman love of all things straight like their roads for instance, I'd have thought that promotional rulers woud be among the leading candidates with their long straight edges and equal measurement increments.

Alternatively, some other rather well aligned products that may have taken the fancy of this notable ruler could be printed desk pads and promotional folders and perhaps balmoral pens. Either way the concept of promotional yourself to the maximum with printed products is a great way to ensure awareness of your message.

What is a printed pencil without one of these . . . ?

When sketching something using a pencil or jotting dwn some notes of interest, it's so easy to make a simple mistake but at least if you're using printed pencils you're can erase your mistakes - assuming that is that you have an eraser (or rubber) in the first place.

It might be suprising to know that erasers can also be printed with a logo and message too. Printed erasers can be an equally helpful promotional tool as well due to their many beneficial traits. These include durability, range of colours and shapes and large flat areas to advertising your brand on.

Some of the great value low cost erasers on offer include rainbow erasers, standard white erasers, fluro erasers and a variety of standard shape erasers in different colours. There are, of course, pencils that have erasers on the end too which include everything from neon pencils to techicoloured pencils.

Colouring pencils or coloured pencils?

From our early years many of us have been bought up using colouring pencils for our colouring-in books and alike. Half sized pencils in small pocket sized packs are ideal promotional giveaways for use in goody bags at kids parties. These small simple colouring pencils have helped us develop our drawing skills and increased our knowledge of the use of colour.

Due to their prominence in most kids' pencil cases, these fun promotional products make an excellent platform to generate brand awareness and spread ideas such as campaign messages. Good examples of the use of this platform are demonstrated by fire and rescue services who use these printed promotional products to spread the message about the use of smoke alarms and fire safety; party companies who utilise the printable card insert within the packet of pencils to show off their corporate identity in unison with the fun aspect associated with colouring pencils and healthy eating campaings.

There are endless opportunities to use these great cost effective promotional products to spread your message in an enjoyable yet practical way. They are great as school pencils to be used for introductory purposes and in primary schools as well.
